2.5 Mbps data rate and the bus budget
Receiver hysteresis of 50 mV provides noise immunity against ground shifts and reflections on the bus. That 50 mV deadband means the receiver output won't chatter when the differential input sits near zero — useful on long cables or in electrically noisy environments like motor-drive cabinets.
The 3V to 3.6V supply range matches 3.3V logic families directly — no level shift between the UART and the transceiver on a 3.3V MCU board.
