Receiver hysteresis and noise margin
The receiver includes 250 mV of hysteresis, which improves noise immunity on the USB differential pair. In electrically noisy environments — motor drives, PLC backplanes, or long cable runs — this hysteresis reduces the chance of false edge triggering that can corrupt packet data.

Housed in a 14-TSSOP (0.173-inch body width, 4.40 mm width), the MAX3452EEUD is a surface-mount part. The 4V to 5.5V supply range covers standard 5V USB VBUS and regulated 5V rails, but does not support 3.3V-only systems — confirm your board's USB power rail before committing the BOM.
