RS-232 link for 5V-only serial ports
The MAX3311EEUB+T is a single RS-232 transceiver from Analog Devices, handling one driver and one receiver in a full-duplex configuration.

The 1/1 driver/receiver count means this transceiver serves a single RS-232 port. For multi-port designs, a separate MAX3311 per channel is needed, or an alternative multi-channel transceiver should be selected.
