1 Mbps RS232 link with 3V–5.5V supply flexibility
The MAX3245EAI+T is a full-duplex RS232 transceiver with three drivers and five receivers, pushing 1 Mbps on the serial line. Receiver hysteresis is set at 500 mV, giving 250 mV of noise margin on the input — enough to reject common-mode noise on a long cable run inside an industrial cabinet without external filtering.
Industrial temp range and package footprint
Surface-mount only — the SSOP outline matches the standard JEDEC MO-150 variation, so the existing solder paste stencil for a 28-pin SSOP works without a new aperture design.
