Three receivers, no drivers — pure RS-422/485 receive side
The MAX3097EEEE+T is a three-channel RS-422/RS-485 line receiver from Analog Devices, built for the receive side of a differential bus. It handles data rates up to 32 Mbps, which covers most industrial fieldbus and high-speed encoder links. The 40 mV of receiver hysteresis keeps noise on long cable runs from triggering false edges — useful on a factory floor where VFDs and contactors are throwing hash into the ground plane.
