Quad receiver for RS-422/RS-485 buses
The MAX3094EESE+ is a quad RS-422/RS-485 receiver from Analog Devices, packing four independent receivers into a single 16-SOIC package. It handles 10Mbps data rates with 45mV of hysteresis, which cleans up noisy bus signals and prevents chatter on long cable runs typical in factory-floor or building-automation networks.
The 16-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm width) body is a standard footprint — reworkable with hot air if you keep the profile under 240°C on the top side to avoid delamination.
