The Analog Devices MAX308CSE+T is a single 8:1 analog multiplexer in a 16-SOIC surface-mount package. It routes one of eight analog inputs to a common output, controlled by three address lines and an enable. The 100 Ohm max on-resistance is low enough for most audio and low-frequency signal chains without adding noticeable attenuation, and the 150 ns turn-on/turn-off time keeps up with moderate-speed data acquisition or test equipment switching.
