100 mA linear regulation with PWM dimming
This is a linear (constant-current) LED driver with an integrated switch — no external inductor or diode needed. The single output delivers up to 100 mA per channel, regulated by an external resistor. Dimming is controlled by a PWM signal on the dedicated pin, which toggles the output on and off at the PWM frequency while maintaining the set current amplitude.
Supply voltage spans 5 V to 40 V, covering automotive battery rails (12 V nominal, 24 V truck, 36 V truck transient) and industrial 24 V supplies. The 40 V maximum supply means the part survives load-dump transients up to that level without external clamping, provided the input rail stays below the abs-max rating.
