It communicates over an SMBus interface and reports temperature with a 7-bit resolution.
Accuracy is ±2°C typical (±3°C maximum) over the 60°C to 100°C test window, with the full -55°C to 125°C operating range covered. The remote channel measures a diode junction and compensates for the ideality factor.
