Dual-phase QuickPWM controller — what it is and where it sits
The MAX1519ETL+ is a dual-phase, QuickPWM controller — a step-down regulator core designed for high-current CPU core or GPU rails that need fast transient response without a large output capacitor bank. QuickPWM architecture means the switching frequency is modulated by the load transient rather than a fixed oscillator; the controller skips pulses at light load and fires full-width pulses when the core demands current, keeping the output within regulation during a 50 A/µs slew.
Active production and compliance posture
ROHS3 compliant per the manufacturer's declaration, with no lead, mercury, cadmium, or restricted phthalates in the bill of materials.
Package and procurement reality
Supplied in Bulk format — loose tubes or trays, not tape-and-reel. For pick-and-place lines, plan for tube-fed or tray-fed feeders; if the line is reel-only, a tape-and-reel conversion is needed before the job runs.
