The MAX13086EESD+ is a full-duplex RS422/RS485 transceiver from Analog Devices, packing one driver and one receiver into a 14-SOIC package. It handles differential signaling up to 16 Mbps, which covers most industrial fieldbus and point-to-point serial links without stretching the line timing. The 100 mV receiver hysteresis filters out noise on long cable runs — useful when the bus spans a factory floor.
