The MAX1258BETM+ carries an Active product status with ROHS3 compliance. No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window is in effect. For BOM planning this means no forced redesign cycle; the part can be specified into new builds without qualification risk.
Package and mounting — 48-TQFN with exposed pad
Surface-mount in a 48-TQFN exposed-pad package (7x7 mm body). The exposed pad must be soldered to a thermal land on the PCB — it is the primary heat path and also the analog ground reference.
