Package and thermal considerations for PCB layout
Surface-mount assembly with Tape & Reel packaging supports automated pick-and-place. The exposed pad must be soldered to the PCB ground plane to achieve the rated thermal performance; a floating pad raises junction temperature under continuous operation.
