Silicon oscillator in a small SOT-23 footprint
The LTC6908IS6-1#TRMPBF is a silicon oscillator from Analog Devices that generates a square-wave clock from 50 kHz to 10 MHz, programmed by a single external resistor — no crystal, ceramic resonator, or LC tank is needed. The frequency range covers the common clock rates for microcontrollers, USB interfaces, and serial-communication timing. Housed in a 6-lead TSOT-23-6 package (SOT-23-6 Thin), it occupies minimal board area and is suited for space-constrained designs where a discrete crystal and load capacitors would take up more real estate.
Supply and temperature range for industrial use
The 1.25 mA typical supply current keeps the power budget low for battery-operated equipment.
