Fault monitoring scope
The over-temperature and over/under-voltage fault flags let the system controller isolate a cell or trigger a contactor before a condition escalates. No separate ADC or comparator chain is needed for these thresholds — the LTC6801 handles them internally, which simplifies the BOM for a 12-cell monitor.
Surface-mount 36-SSOP (5.30 mm body width) fits standard reflow profiles. The tape-and-reel option (TR) suits volume pick-and-place; cut-tape (CT) is available for prototype or low-volume builds.
