Package and board-fit — 32-QFN with exposed pad
The LTC3727LXEUH-1#PBF ships in a 32-WFQFN exposed-pad package (supplier device package 32-QFN, 5x5 mm).
What the dual-phase synchronous buck buys you
This is a dual-output (2-phase) current-mode step-down controller with synchronous rectification built in — no external Schottky catch diode needed for the main power path. The 99.4% max duty cycle lets it run near dropout, useful when the input rail sags close to the output voltage. Switching frequency is programmable from 255 kHz to 530 kHz; higher frequency shrinks the inductor and capacitor but increases switching losses. The two outputs can be phased 180° apart to reduce input ripple current — a real advantage when the input source is a long cable or a battery with high internal impedance.
Supply range and control features
The controller integrates Enable, Power Good, and Soft Start — the soft-start pin sets the output ramp time with a single capacitor.
