Technical details

16-bit dual multiplying DAC for precision analog output

The Analog Devices LTC2752BCLX#PBF is a 16-bit dual multiplying DAC with current-unbuffered output, part of the SoftSpan™ series. Two DACs in a 48-LQFP package, each settling to 16 bits in 2 µs typical — fast enough for audio-rate waveform generation, servo-loop setpoints, and automated test equipment channel cards. Multiplying architecture means the output is the product of the digital code and an external reference voltage, so the part can scale an AC signal or act as a digitally controlled attenuator. Differential output simplifies driving balanced loads or generating bipolar swings with an external op-amp stage.

Supply range and reference — single-supply flexibility

Reference type is external — the user provides the voltage that defines the full-scale output current. SPI data interface keeps pin count low.

Lifecycle — active, no end-of-life concern

LTC2752BCLX#PBF carries an active lifecycle status. The #PBF suffix indicates lead-free (Pb-free) finish.
