The LTC1485CS8#TRPBF is a single half-duplex transceiver supporting RS422 and RS485 protocols, with one driver and one receiver on chip. It operates from a standard 5V rail (4.75V to 5.25V) and includes 60 mV of receiver hysteresis to reject noise on long cable runs typical of factory-floor or building-automation networks. The commercial temperature range (0°C to 70°C) suits indoor control cabinets, test equipment, and HVAC controllers where ambient stays within that envelope.
