Dual op-amp with 60 MHz GBW and rail-to-rail output
The LT6234CS8#PBF is a dual general-purpose operational amplifier from the LT® series, in an 8-SOIC surface-mount package. It delivers a 60 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 17 V/µs slew rate, making it suited for signal conditioning in memory interface and control loops where settling time matters.
Parametric fit for signal-chain design
Rail-to-rail output swing lets the amplifier drive ADC inputs or comparator thresholds without losing headroom at either supply rail. The supply span from 3 V to 12.6 V covers single 3.3 V and 5 V rails as well as split supplies up to ±6.3 V. Input offset voltage is 100 µV typical, and input bias current is 1.5 µA — both specified at 25°C. For a 10 kΩ source impedance, the offset voltage dominates the DC error budget; the bias current contributes about 15 mV of additional offset, which is manageable with source impedance matching. Each channel draws 1.05 mA supply current, and the output can source or sink 55 mA per channel. This drive capability is enough to charge the input capacitance of a successive-approximation ADC or to drive a 50 Ω back-terminated line in a test fixture. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C — the commercial grade. For designs that see ambient above 70°C, verify the thermal margin in the 8-SOIC package; the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of the SO-8 limits power dissipation at elevated temperatures.
