Negative rail LDO with 73 dB PSRR at 1 MHz
The LT3093EDD#PBF is a negative adjustable LDO regulator from Analog Devices, delivering 200 mA output with a dropout voltage of just 0.3 V at full load. Its 73 dB PSRR at 1 MHz means it rejects switching noise from upstream DC-DC converters cleanly — critical for powering sensitive analog front-ends or RF chains where a noisy negative rail would couple into the signal path. Output is adjustable from 0 V down to -19.5 V, with a -20 V maximum input. The single regulator in a 12-WFDFN exposed pad package (3x3 mm DFN) makes it a compact fit for board-level negative rail generation in test equipment, industrial sensors, or audio circuits.
Dropout, quiescent current, and protection
Quiescent current is 10 µA typical, keeping the regulator's own draw negligible in battery-powered or always-on systems. Built-in protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit events. The control features include current limit and enable, so the regulator can be shut down via a logic signal to save power when the load is idle.
