PSRR holds 60 dB at 120 Hz and stays above 52 dB through 1 MHz, so this part cleans up ripple from a switching preregulator well into the MHz band — useful for noise-sensitive analog front-end supplies or post-switcher filtering without a second LC stage.
Protection set and control interface
Built-in over-current, over-temperature, and reverse-polarity protection reduce the need for external clamp diodes or foldback circuits. The Enable and Power Good pins allow sequencing against an FPGA or MCU power-up sequence — Power Good asserts when the output is within regulation, so the load can be released from reset cleanly. Quiescent current runs 3.5 mA typical, supply current maxes at 60 mA. Not a micropower LDO, but the 3 A capability and protection set suit it for point-of-load regulation where the load current dominates the power budget anyway.
