The LT1763CS8-3.3#TRPBF: Its 65 dB power supply rejection ratio at 120 Hz makes it a strong candidate for cleaning up rectified line-frequency ripple in analog supply rails — the PSRR figure tells you how much of the input ripple (at 120 Hz, the fundamental of full-wave rectified mains) is attenuated before reaching the output. For a 1 Vpp ripple on the input, the output sees roughly 0.56 mVpp at that frequency.
Dropout voltage and load regulation
At lighter loads the dropout is lower, but the 0.45 V ceiling is the number to budget for worst-case headroom. An Enable pin (active high) allows the regulator to be shut down for power sequencing or low-power standby. On-chip protection includes over-current limiting, thermal shutdown, and reverse-polarity protection — the latter is unusual for an LDO and prevents damage if the input is accidentally reversed.
Package and sourcing fit
A tube variant (LT1763CS8-3.3#PBF) is also available for prototyping or low-volume builds. Analog Devices lists the product status as Active — no end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window is in effect. The part is ROHS3 compliant.
