What this bridge does on the bus
The DS2482S-800+T&R acts as a protocol translator, converting an I²C master command stream into the 1-Wire® timing and signalling needed to communicate with up to eight 1-Wire slave devices on a single bus.
Supply voltage flexibility and temperature grade
Rated for both 3.3 V and 5 V supply rails, the DS2482S-800+T&R bridges systems where the I²C master runs at one voltage and the 1-Wire bus needs the other — no external level shifter required.
ROHS3 compliant — no exemption-based solder restrictions.
