The Maxim Integrated DS2460S+T&R is a 896-bit serial EEPROM organized as 112 x 8 bits, communicating over an I²C bus at up to 400 kHz.
Supply range and I²C bus compatibility
At 400 kHz the I²C interface runs at standard fast-mode speed — the bus timing is compatible with most MCU I²C peripherals and dedicated host adapters. The 896-bit density is small enough that the entire memory can be read or written in a single multi-byte transaction, which keeps the bus transaction short in a polled or interrupt-driven system.
