The Maxim DG413CUE+ is a quad single-pole single-throw analog switch with a normally-open and normally-closed configuration per channel, packaged in a 16-TSSOP for surface-mount assembly. Each of the four independent switches routes analog or digital signals up to the supply rails with a maximum on-resistance of 45 Ohms and channel-to-channel matching within 3 Ohms. The part is designed for signal multiplexing, sample-and-hold circuits, and data-acquisition front-ends operating from a single 10 V to 30 V supply or dual ±4.5 V to ±20 V rails.
Turn-on time of 175 ns and turn-off of 145 ns set the throughput ceiling for a multiplexed ADC front-end.
Package and supply — what the board needs
The 16-TSSOP body (4.40 mm width) fits a tight PCB layout but demands careful routing of the analog and digital supply pins to keep switching noise off the signal path. Off-channel leakage is rated at 250 pA maximum, so high-impedance sources above 1 MOhm will see a voltage offset from the leakage current — worth checking if your source impedance is in that range. The part is ROHS3 compliant, no exemption issues for EU or California markets.
The part is active, so no last-time-buy scramble for a production BOM.
