Triple-axis analog accelerometer for industrial and instrumentation sensing
The ADXL354BEZ-RL7 outputs analog voltages proportional to acceleration on the X, Y, and Z axes. It offers a user-selectable acceleration range of ±2g or ±4g, with corresponding sensitivities of 400 mV/g and 200 mV/g respectively.
Selectable range and sensitivity — matching the ADC input to the motion profile
The ±2g range delivers 400 mV/g sensitivity, giving the finest resolution for low-g events like tilt or seismic monitoring. Switching to ±4g halves the sensitivity to 200 mV/g but doubles the dynamic range, which matters when the part sees shock or high-vibration environments. The analog output connects directly to a microcontroller ADC — no digital interface overhead. The 1.5 kHz bandwidth captures mechanical vibration up to the low end of machine-condition monitoring; for higher-frequency events, a wider-bandwidth accelerometer would be needed.
Temperature range and package — built for the industrial floor
Rated from -40°C to 125°C, the ADXL354BEZ-RL7 operates across the full industrial temperature span, covering engine-bay, outdoor telecom cabinet, and factory-floor deployments without derating. The 14-CLCC ceramic package provides a hermetic seal and stable mechanical mounting for the MEMS element, important when thermal cycling or humidity is present. Surface-mount assembly keeps board-level integration straightforward.
Lifecycle and compliance — active production, RoHS3
It is ROHS3 Compliant, meeting the latest EU restriction-of-hazardous-substances directive.
