The ADUM5201ARWZ: It packs two unidirectional isolation channels and an integrated isolated DC-DC converter into a single 16-SOIC package, saving board space versus a separate isolator plus isolated supply. The 2500Vrms isolation rating covers reinforced insulation for industrial and medical power supplies, motor drives, and PLC digital I/O modules. Data rate is 1Mbps, with typical rise/fall times of 2.5ns and propagation delays of 100ns max — fast enough for isolated SPI, UART, or GPIO signals in factory automation and building control.

The 1Mbps data rate, 100ns propagation delay, and 40ns pulse-width distortion suit isolated serial links. The 25kV/µs common-mode transient immunity prevents glitching in motor-drive applications.
