Digital isolation with certified 2500 Vrms barrier
The ADUM3401CRWZ-RL is a 4-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler series, using magnetic coupling to transfer data across a 2500 Vrms isolation barrier. It supports a data rate of 90 Mbps with typical rise/fall times of 2.5 ns and a maximum propagation delay of 32 ns in either direction.
The part is ROHS3 compliant.
Common-mode transient immunity — 25 kV/µs minimum
A minimum common-mode transient immunity of 25 kV/µs ensures the isolator maintains data integrity when large voltage transients appear across the barrier, as happens in motor-drive inverter nodes, industrial fieldbus taps, or any environment where ground potential differences shift rapidly. This rating, combined with the 2500 Vrms isolation voltage, qualifies the part for use in industrial automation, solar inverter communication, and medical equipment isolation where both high-voltage withstand and noise rejection are required.
