Six-channel unidirectional isolation at 150 Mbps
It provides 5000 Vrms isolation across the barrier, with a data rate of 150 Mbps and typical rise/fall times of 2.5 ns. The 5/1 input split (five channels on side 1, one on side 2) suits applications like SPI bus isolation, where multiple data lines and a single chip-select need separation.
5000 Vrms and 75 kV/µs CMTI — isolation for noisy environments
The 5000 Vrms isolation rating covers reinforced insulation requirements for industrial motor drives, medical equipment, and grid-tied power converters. The minimum common-mode transient immunity of 75 kV/µs means the part rejects fast voltage spikes across the barrier — a spec that matters when a SiC or IGBT switch transitions at tens of kV/µs. Propagation delay is symmetrical at 13 ns max for both low-to-high and high-to-low transitions, with pulse-width distortion held to 4.5 ns max, so the output pulse width stays close to the input. That timing consistency keeps the bus margin intact in a 150 Mbps SPI link.
For dual-sourcing or a lower channel count, the ADUM251N0BRIZ (5-channel, same 150 Mbps and 5000 Vrms rating) is a pin-compatible alternative within the same iCoupler family.
Package and temperature grade
Housed in a 16-pin SOIC wide-body (7.50 mm width) package, surface-mount. The wide-body SOIC provides the creepage distance needed to sustain the 5000 Vrms rating across the isolation barrier.
