What the ADUM2400CRWZ brings to a galvanic isolation barrier
The ADUM2400CRWZ is a 4-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler family. It uses magnetic coupling to transfer logic signals across a 5000 Vrms isolation barrier, enough for reinforced insulation in medical equipment and industrial motor drives. With a 90 Mbps data rate and 2.5 ns typical rise/fall times, it handles high-speed SPI, UART, and parallel bus isolation without adding significant skew—propagation delay is 32 ns max in either direction.

The 5000 Vrms rating exceeds the 2500 Vrms of the ADUM3400CRWZ. The 25 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity prevents glitching during high dV/dt switching.
Supply range and channel direction
All four channels are unidirectional and oriented as 4 inputs on side 1 and 0 on side 2—meaning this variant is for data flowing in one direction only. If you need bidirectional channels, the ADUM2401BRIZ offers a 3/1 split, though at a lower 10 Mbps data rate.
