It provides 5000Vrms isolation between the bus sides, with one bidirectional channel (SCL/SDA) and one unidirectional channel, supporting data rates up to 1Mbps. The supply range spans 3V to 5.5V on each side, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V I²C buses without level translation.
