Three-channel unidirectional digital isolator for 150 Mbps lanes
The ADUM130E0BRZ from Analog Devices' iCoupler family is a three-channel, unidirectional digital isolator rated for 150 Mbps per channel. It uses magnetic coupling to transfer logic signals across a 3000 Vrms isolation barrier, with a common-mode transient immunity of 75 kV/µs — enough to keep data clean in motor-drive or inverter environments where fast dV/dt events are the norm. All three inputs are on side 1; side 2 is output-only (3/0 channel direction). Propagation delay is 13 ns max in both directions, with pulse-width distortion held to 3 ns max.
The 16-SOIC body (3.90 mm width) is a common footprint for isolated interface designs, surface-mount only. No on-board isolated DC-DC converter — the part expects clean supply rails on both sides. If your application needs isolated power, pair it with an ADuM5xxx or a separate transformer module.
