The ADUM1286BRZ is a two-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from the iCoupler® family, built around magnetic coupling rather than optocoupler LEDs. It delivers 3000 Vrms isolation in a standard 8-SOIC footprint, so it fits designs that need to break ground loops or provide safety isolation on a digital interface without the ageing and current-transfer-ratio drift of optocouplers.
