Precision 5V reference for industrial ADC/DAC bias
The ADR365BUJZ-REEL7 is a series voltage reference from Analog Devices that delivers a fixed 5V output with ±0.08% initial accuracy — tight enough to set the full-scale range of a 16-bit SAR ADC without an external trim pot.
Supply headroom and load drive
The input range runs from 5.3V to 15V, so it works off a 6V or 9V rail with enough dropout margin to stay in regulation even when the upstream supply sags. It sources up to 5 mA output current — enough to bias the reference input of a multichannel ADC, a handful of op-amp dividers, or a DAC's external reference pin without needing a buffer. The device draws 190µA quiescent current from the input rail, which keeps the thermal load low in the TSOT-23-5 package and makes it viable for battery-powered instrumentation that runs continuously.
TSOT-23-5 footprint and board integration
Housed in a TSOT-23-5 (SOT-23-5 Thin) package, the ADR365BUJZ-REEL7 shares the same 2.9 mm × 2.8 mm footprint as the standard SOT-23-5 — no board respin needed if you're swapping between the two variants. Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) options, so it feeds into a pick-and-place line from a standard 8 mm tape without a feeder change.
