The ADF4212LBRUZ is a PLL-based clock/frequency synthesizer from Analog Devices, targeting RF and IF synthesis up to 2.4 GHz. The 3:1 input-to-output ratio and differential I/O allow it to drive mixers and modulators directly in a receiver or transmitter chain.

Housed in a 20-lead TSSOP (4.40 mm width) — the 0.65 mm pitch is routable on a 2-layer board with careful trace spacing for the differential clock outputs. The differential output pair (Yes/Yes) reduces common-mode noise coupling into the downstream PLL or mixer.
