13.5 GHz PLL for FMCW radar front-ends
The ADF4169CCPZ is a PLL frequency synthesizer from Analog Devices, purpose-built for FMCW radar applications. Its maximum output frequency of 13.5 GHz covers the K-band and upper X-band, making it a direct fit for automotive radar, industrial level-sensing, and security scanning systems. The device accepts a CMOS reference input and delivers a clock output, with a 2:1 input-to-output ratio. A single PLL circuit is integrated, keeping the BOM count low for compact radar modules.
Industrial temperature range and supply rails
The supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 3.45 V aligns with common 3.3 V and 3.0 V digital rails used alongside RF front-end chips.
Package and footprint for RF layout
Housed in a 24-lead LFCSP-WQ with an exposed pad (4x4 mm body), the package provides a low-inductance ground path critical for PLL phase-noise performance at 13.5 GHz. Tape-and-reel variants are available under different order codes if automated pick-and-place is required.
Active production — sourcing posture
ROHS3 compliant, it is free from the ten restricted substances plus four phthalates, meeting current EU and global environmental requirements. We source through authorized distribution channels; no minimum order quantity restrictions apply for standard volumes.
