Bandwidth and output drive — sizing the video chain
The 10.5 MHz bandwidth is the key spec for video signal integrity: it provides flat gain across the NTSC/PAL luminance band (up to about 4.2 MHz) with enough margin to avoid group-delay distortion at the color subcarrier. The 50 mA output current per channel lets the amplifier drive a standard 75 Ω coaxial cable or twisted-pair video line without an external buffer — check the load line against the supply voltage to confirm headroom for the peak-to-peak output swing. The 7.6 mA supply current is the quiescent figure; at full output into a 75 Ω load the total current will be higher, so budget accordingly in the power rail design.
Package and thermal design
The 8-LFCSP-WD (3x3 mm) package with exposed pad is the same footprint as the standard 8-lead LFCSP but with a larger die-attach paddle for heat sinking.
Lifecycle and compliance
It is part of the Automotive series, which implies AEC-Q100 qualification for the package and temperature grade — confirm the specific AEC-Q100 grade level in the full datasheet.
