Single-supply rail-to-rail op-amp for battery and sensor conditioning
The Analog Devices AD8541ARZ-REEL7 is a single-channel general-purpose op-amp in an 8-SOIC package, delivering rail-to-rail output swing on a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply span. It draws 45 µA quiescent supply current — a deliberate low-power design choice for battery-operated or always-on sensor front-ends where every microamp counts. The 1 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.92 V/µs slew rate handle audio-band filtering, low-speed ADC drivers, and control-loop compensation without over-designing for high-speed stages. Input bias current sits at 4 pA, so high-impedance sources like photodiodes or pH probes don't see loading errors.
The extended range means no derating headache when the board sits near a motor drive or under a dashboard in summer.
