Fast op amp in a through-hole DIP — what you're getting
Its 250 V/µs slew rate and 34 MHz gain-bandwidth product suit video distribution, high-speed ADC drivers, or pulse-processing front ends. Supply span runs from 9 V to 36 V, drawing 12 mA quiescent.
Package and temperature — fit for the board
The 8-DIP (0.300″ body, 7.62 mm pitch) is a standard through-hole footprint. Pin 1 is marked by a notch and dot; the pinout follows the classic single-op-amp DIP layout (offset null, inverting input, non-inverting input, V–, output, V+, offset null). That covers benchtop instruments, lab gear, office equipment, and indoor consumer electronics. Not rated for -40°C industrial or automotive environments. If you need the same electricals in a surface-mount package, the AD843JRZ-16 is the SOIC-16 sibling — same die, same speed, different footprint.
No end-of-life notice is in the record. Sourcing is through independent distribution — we quote against an RFQ.
