Active production, DVI/HDMI 1.3a switch in a 56-LFCSP
The AD8192ACPZ: Control is handled through an I²C-compatible serial interface, making it straightforward to integrate into a video routing or switching matrix.
Package and rework considerations
Will it survive the hot air? Yes — the exposed pad wicks heat into the board quickly; preheat the PCB to 100–120 °C before rework and use a nozzle that covers the whole body. The pad is large enough that a thermocouple on the top of the package reads close to the joint temperature. Pin 1 is marked by a dimple on the top of the package; the pad array is symmetric but the dimple is unambiguous under a microscope. Tray packaging means parts arrive in a rigid carrier, not tape-and-reel, which suits low-volume builds and prototyping.
Sourcing and compliance posture
ROHS3 compliant — no exemptions for lead in solder or other restricted substances, which simplifies EU and UKCA market entry.
