Triple current-feedback amplifier in 14-SOIC
The AD8073JRZ: Each of the three channels delivers a 500 V/µs slew rate and 100 MHz -3 dB bandwidth, with a supply current of 3.5 mA per amplifier. Typical applications include RGB video distribution, high-speed ADC drivers, and multi-channel test equipment where three amplifiers in one package save board area.
Package and mounting
A 500 V/µs slew rate means this amplifier can swing a 5 V output step in 10 ns, which is fast enough to handle video signals at 1080p resolutions without visible slew-rate distortion. For a calibration technician, that slew rate is the number to check when driving a high-speed ADC input — if the signal edge is slower than the amplifier can track, the measurement error lands in the LSBs. The 100 MHz small-signal bandwidth supports clean gain up to about 10 MHz for a gain-of-10 stage, but the large-signal bandwidth will be lower; the slew rate is the limiting factor for output swings above a few volts.
Supply flexibility and output drive
The AD8073JRZ operates from a single 5 V to 12 V supply or split ±2.5 V to ±6 V supplies. Each output provides 30 mA continuous, and the 3.5 mA supply current per channel keeps total dissipation low.
