The AD7994BRUZ-1 is a 12-bit successive-approximation ADC sampling at 188 kSPS — fast enough to oversample a 10 kHz sensor signal 18× per cycle, leaving headroom for digital filtering without missing edges on a multiplexed four-channel scan. Single-ended input architecture with a 4:1 mux ahead of the S/H means each channel sees the full 12-bit resolution at the converter's native rate; the mux settles in one clock cycle, so the aggregate throughput across all four channels is 188 kSPS divided by the number of active channels.
2.7V to 5.5V single-supply — one rail, no level shifting
Both analog and digital supply pins run from the same 2.7V to 5.5V rail — no separate AVDD/DVDD domain, so a single 3.3V or 5V LDO feeds the whole part and the I2C bus voltage matches the digital supply without an external translator.
