Eight-channel ADC/DAC in a 3x3 mm package
The Analog Devices AD5592RBCPZ-RL7 packs eight configurable analog I/O channels into a 16-lead LFCSP measuring 3x3 mm. Each channel can act as a 12-bit ADC input, a 12-bit DAC output, or a general-purpose digital I/O — all controlled over a single SPI bus. That means one part handles sensor readback, analog setpoint generation, and a few digital flags, which saves board area and reduces the component count on a mixed-signal front-end.
400k samples per second — where it fits
The ADC samples at 400k per second.
Single-supply 2.7 V to 5.5 V — no bipolar rails needed
The part operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply.
Industrial temperature grade and package handling
Rated from -40°C to 105°C, this part is comfortable in a motor-drive cabinet, an outdoor telecom enclosure, or an engine-bay ECU. The 16-LFCSP package is a QFN-style leadless package with a 3x3 mm footprint. No lab bench needed for rework — a hot-air station with a fine nozzle and some flux paste will swap it cleanly.
Active lifecycle — no LTB pressure
ADI lists the AD5592RBCPZ-RL7 as Active. For a BOM line that needs a mixed-signal front-end, this part is safe to qualify into a new design without worrying about a forced redesign in the next year or two.
ROHS3 compliance
The part is ROHS3 compliant, which covers the full set of restricted substances including the four phthalates. No exemption paperwork needed for EU-market equipment.
