Quad 10-bit DAC with buffered voltage output
The AD5314BRMZ-REEL7 is a 10-bit quad DAC with voltage-buffered outputs in a 10-MSOP package. It integrates four DAC channels on one die, each with its own output buffer.
INL and DNL — the linearity budget
The ±0.5 LSB integral non-linearity (INL) and ±0.05 LSB differential non-linearity (DNL) guarantee monotonic behavior across the full 10-bit range. A DNL of ±0.05 LSB means no missing codes — every digital input produces a unique analog output step. That matters when the DAC drives a comparator threshold or a power-supply feedback node where a skipped code would cause a glitch. The INL error of half an LSB at 10 bits translates to about 0.05 % of full scale, which is adequate for most industrial set-point and calibration tasks without needing external trimming.
Package and supply — board-fit constraints
The 10-MSOP package (3.00 mm body width) is a compact footprint for space-constrained analog output modules. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles.
