Product details

MEMS resonator, 32.768 MHz, CMOS output

The ASEMPC-32.768MHZ-T3: A MEMS-based standard oscillator — the resonator is silicon, not a quartz crystal, which gives it better shock and vibration tolerance (no piezo-mechanical resonance to mechanical frequency shift). 32.768 MHz is the binary-divisible RTC frequency: 2^15 divides exactly to 1 Hz, which is why it clocks every real-time clock circuit from watches to industrial PLC timers. CMOS output swings rail-to-rail and drives a logic input directly — no external termination needed for a standard MCU or FPGA clock input.

Package, stability, and temperature grade

±50 ppm frequency stability over the full operating range is the standard commercial oscillator grade — adequate for RTC, UART baud-rate timing, and general-purpose MCU clocks; it is not the ±4.6 ppm of a TCXO or the ±0.05 ppm of an OCXO. Commercial temperature grade -20°C to +70°C makes this suited for indoor equipment and office-grade instruments — not for engine-compartment or outdoor-exposed enclosures without additional thermal protection.

Frequently asked questions

What is ASEMPC-32.768MHZ-T3 used for?

The 32.768 MHz frequency clocks real-time clock circuits — it divides down to a clean 1 Hz tick for timekeeping in PLCs, industrial instruments, and embedded systems. The Enable/Disable pin lets the system cut the oscillator to save power when the RTC is not needed.

Where can I order ASEMPC-32.768MHZ-T3 and what is the lead time?

Quoted to order against your BOM quantity through independent distribution. Availability and current lead time are confirmed when you submit an RFQ — no stock-holding commitment is made here.
