Rated -55°C to 125°C, the ASEMP sits in the military/commercial-expanded temperature band rather than the standard industrial -40 to +85 °C window. A 12.352 MHz clock oscillator tolerating 125 °C ambient opens the door for under-hood automotive, downhole instrumentation, and sealed-enclosure designs where board-level temperature can spike well above ambient air.
