The ASEMB-32.000MHZ-LC-T: Standby (Power Down) function lets the host MCU cut oscillator current from 16 mA active down to 15 µA when the part is disabled — a meaningful sleep-mode power saving for battery-backed or always-on embedded designs.
Supplied on Tape & Reel or Cut Tape — reel quantities suit production programming or rapid-turn prototype spin.
Pulling the standby pin low shuts off the output and draws only 15 µA max, versus 16 mA in normal operation. For a microcontroller running a deep-sleep profile, the oscillator's standby current determines whether the sleep-mode current budget stays within the target drain spec.
