The Winbond W25Q80DVSNIG TR is an 8 Mbit (1 MB) serial NOR flash organized as 1M x 8, and it is the D-generation member of this W25Q group, the mature, cost-lean tier that precedes the current J-series parts. It ships in the narrow-body 8-pin SOIC (0.154 inch, 3.90 mm) on tape and reel, with cut tape available.
The clock figure tells the generation story: this part is rated at 104 MHz rather than the 133 MHz of the newer J-series devices. For a 1 MB boot and parameter device that ceiling rarely binds, and it is part of the reason D-series parts remain staples in cost-sensitive production. The interface is standard SPI plus Dual/Quad I/O, operating from 2.7 V to 3.6 V over -40°C to 85°C, with a 3 ms page program.
