4A peak gate drive with 5 kV isolation
The TLP5754(TP,E is a single-channel optical coupling gate driver from Toshiba, delivering 4 A peak output current with 5000 Vrms isolation — enough to drive medium-power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor drives and inverters without a separate booster stage. Rise and fall times are 15 ns and 8 ns typical, keeping switching losses low at moderate frequencies.
35 kV/µs CMTI for noisy environments
Common-mode transient immunity is rated at 35 kV/µs minimum — the part will not latch or misfire when the motor-drive bus switches at high dV/dt. Propagation delay is matched at 150 ns max for both tpLH and tpHL, with pulse-width distortion under 50 ns, so the gate signal stays symmetrical.
