The TLP2704(E is a Toshiba high-speed logic output optocoupler with a single DC-input channel and an open-collector output, housed in a 6-SOIC package with 7.50mm creepage width. Its 5000Vrms isolation rating and 20kV/µs minimum common-mode transient immunity make it a fit for motor-drive feedback, PLC digital input modules, and isolated communication interfaces where high dv/dt edges from IGBT switching must not corrupt the logic signal. The open-collector output, combined with a 4.5V to 30V supply range on the output side, lets it drive 5V, 12V or 24V logic rails directly without an external level shifter.
